15. 2013 List editor: Adrianne George Lind
Adrianne George is an American expat in England who has lived in
Sweden and Belgium. She is the 2012 Maisha Gala Entrepreneur of
the Year, the creator of the Black Women in Europe™: Power List,
and founder of the award-winning Black Women in Europe™ Blog,
social network, and LinkedIn Group. She is a former board
member of Democrats Abroad Sweden, and American Women’s
Club in Stockholm, and sits on the board of the Black European
Women’s Council. She set up and manages several social networks
for expats and has launched two job boards for expats in Sweden.
She is the co-founder of the Women of the African Diaspora
website and co-editor of Black Expat.com.
16. Design: Mark Derek McCullough
The Black Women in Europe™ Power List 2013 logo and slide
show was designed by Mark Derek McCullough of Cuedos
Design. Currently residing in southern California, he has lived in
the UK, Spain and Sweden working on various international
graphic identity and commercial interior architectural design
projects. Derek is the Creative Director of Black Expat.com and
for the AG Communication Group and its associated brands.
