The aim of every student after completing education is to secure a good job. They also want to make good & steady progress in professional & personal life. But; they are neither able to secure a good job nor able to achieve the success they aspired for. Also; many professional complain that though they work very hard but they do not get the success they deserve but their undeserving colleagues get better increments. The reason for this disturbing phenomenon is that we are not aware of what is needed to get jobs. Good marks equal good job is a myth. If I work hard I will get good increments & a promotion is another myth. Keeping this in mind The English Academy has started a project:Smart Students Program-Project Campus to Corporate This project aims to appraise the students entering the job market what qualities & skills employers actively look for in a potential employee at time of interview. This project also presents to the working professionals the qualities & skills employers look for when deciding on promotions & increments.

However, the teaching process in our schools & colleges focuses on preparing students for scoring high marks. Hence, most of the students when they enter corporate world lack vital employ ability skills.

Gary Blake, Communication Workshop leader; I am surprised at the number of managers who complain that nobody who works for them can write a simple paragraph. A senior recruiter at Citigroup : “If I have two similar candidates in front of me, every time I’ll hire the one who can write better.” Every time!

- 19. Terms and Conditions The participation is suggested to be limited to preferably about 30-40 participants. Duration of each module of about 90-120 minutes. The institute shall have to also arrange for a PC/Laptop, LCD Projector, Speakers & microphone. METHODOLOGY: Lecture by facilitator, Power point presentations, Audio/Video Clips, Interaction & discussion with participants.
- 20. Terms and Conditions Our remuneration for conducting paid workshops in your institute is Rs. 2,500/- for each workshop. However, no remuneration is payable for pro bono (free) workshops. The institute will also have to either arrange local conveyance and travelling or reimburse local conveyance and travelling expenses of the trainer/s. Any lodging/boarding, if required, shall also be arranged by the institute. These charges apply even for free workshops. Payment shall have to be made immediately on completion of workshop/s.
