      completeness and reach
  •   Professionals are both part of small and large
      companies

Conclusions

• Recruitment companies are present in social
  by mainly through their employees
• Other than LinkedIn and Newsletters, the rest
  of social media is unknown territory
• Recruitment companies are not visible nor
  engaging their candidates – One way traffic!

• Recruitment professionals have incomplete
  profiles
• Profiles do not demonstrate their level of
  professionalism
• Recruitment professionals are not joining the
  conversation
• No reputation, branding of trust building is
  being done

Recommendations

A. Companies
  1. Define your social media strategy
  2. Create company profiles in relevant social media
  3. Engage your candidates through blogs, e-mailings,
     newsletters, etc.
B. Professionals
  1. Upgrade your profile to look professionally
  2. Demonstrate your reach and add contacts
  3. Join more groups and contribute to discussions
