Giving students responsibility for their own learning Students can be found: Monitoring animal behaviour via the school’s PigCam & Eggcam Completing their homework via Twitter and Facebook Visiting the Big Brother-style diary room Broadcasting live to 30 million people in Indonesia. These are not gimmicks or PR stunts: the innovative experiences happening here are proving to be incredibly effective & happen on a daily basis

Example of mobile phones and how most young people don’t use predictive text because it is different on different phone models. Therefore they learn to multi-tap so that when they upgrade their phones they can keep texting.Why buy expensive voting pads/systems when a bluetooth enabled phone to PC could perform the same function?
