The Regional Bureau of Spatial Planning in Wroclaw is implementing a project to create a regional spatial data infrastructure (SDI) node for spatial planning in the Wroclaw functional area. The node will integrate multiple spatial data sources using web services to support spatial planning and management processes at the regional and local levels. It will be developed using open-source software and standards to be freely available to users and developers. The SDI node aims to facilitate monitoring, evaluation, and harmonization of spatial policy through publishing planning data and developing geospatial tools.

THE PROJECT VIA REGIA PLUS (SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY AND REGIONAL COOPERATION ALONG THE
PAN-EUROPEAN TRANSPORT CORRIDOR III) CARRIED OUT UNDER THE PROGRAMME FOR CENTRAL
EUROPE OF THE EUROPEAN TERRITORIAL COOPERATION (ETC) HAS EXPANDED THE AREA ALONG THE
PAN-EUROPEAN TRANSPORT CORRIDOR III (BERLIN / DRESDEN - WROCLAW - LVIV - KIEV).
The Regional Bureau of Spatial Planning in Wroclaw has implemented under this project the following
package:
Works on Integrated Area Allocations System for the Metropolitan Area (WP4 work package - 4.2.4.)
WBU by pursuing the objectives of the Via Regia Plus project, coordinates the creation and
development of the regional sdi node (WWIIP) in the fiels of spatial planning, which links local and
regional levels of administration.

THE IDEA BEHIND THE PROJECT IS TO EXPAND COOPERATION IN THE

HIGH SCHOOL/ACADEMIA, AND THE RESULTING SOLUTION TO MAKE ALL THE
